Free Tdap Vaccine Clinics every Thursday evening at City Hall Annex
Pertussis (also known as whooping cough) is a very contagious disease that can cause breathing difficulties and other complications in young children. You can help protect our youngest residents by getting vaccinated to prevent this disease at FREE clinics offered by the City of Somerville Health Department every Thursday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the City Hall Annex 50 Evergreen Ave. This single vaccine also protects against tetanus and diphtheria, which is why it is called Tdap.
Because complications of Pertussis are most dangerous in young children new parents, grandparents, and other close contacts of infants and small children should be vaccinated against this disease.
Come to the City Hall Annex any Thursday evening and get a Tdap Vaccine to protect the health of the children in our community. If you have any questions, please call the Health Department at 617-625-6600 ext. 4300.
