Performs school nursing services, communicable disease prevention and control - immunization of school children. Plans, organizes and administers health education programs. Prepares and distributes health information, consults with teachers and other school department personnel on health issues and provisions of clinical in-service education as needed. Collects and maintains public health/school health data and prepares reports concerning public health /school health activities as required by Health Department. Plans, organizes, and administers health programs, counseling, home visits, and performs related duties as required. |
