Municipal Election: Tuesday, November 5; Last Day to Register or Update Voter Info Is Oct. 16

This fall, Somerville voters have the opportunity to cast ballots for Mayor, Ward City Councilor, City Councilors-at-Large, and School Committee members. A preliminary election for Mayor and Ward 3 School Committee, similar to a primary election, was held on Tuesday, September 10. Voters narrowed down the Mayoral candidates to two candidates (Joseph A. Curtatone and Marianne Walles) and the Ward 3 School Committee candidates to two candidates (Sarah Phillips and Mary Marshall). The general election will be on Tuesday, November 5.
 
Please note that because of ongoing construction at Somerville High School, the polling locations for Ward 3 Precincts 1 and 2 have been relocated. Ward 3 Precinct 1 residents will vote at Properzi Manor, 13-25 Warren Ave., and Ward 3 Precinct 2 residents will vote at the Cummings School, using the entrance at 42 Prescott St.
