Somerville Youth Council

The Somerville Youth Council is a group of youth leaders (aged 14 to 19) from across the City representing various youth leadership development programs. These youth leaders bring a wide diversity of perspectives and agendas to the task of catalyzing and influencing change through cooperative and results-driven advocacy, strategic analysis of youth issues in the City, respectful communication and community organizing. The Youth Council is sponsored by the Somerville Youth Workers Network in cooperation with The Center for Teen Empowerment.
