Bridge Hopper – Complimentary Shuttle During GLX Work

The Somerville Bridge Hopper is a free shuttle service provided by the City to help residents navigate long-term bridge closures required for Green Line Extension construction.

Service is offered around both the Broadway and Washington St. bridges. Shuttles run a continuous loop around each bridge to transport riders from one side of the closure to the other. Shuttles operate weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Hours of Operation

Shuttles run Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Service is not provided on weekends or holidays.

If you are a business, consultant, or non-profit that may be able to support Somerville’s business community, we encourage you to respond to our Request for Information (RFI).
Members will develop a recommendation to the Mayor on both the location and scope of a renovated or new school to meet the needs of the Winter Hill Community Innovation School and potentially the Benjamin G. Brown School.
