Due to habitat loss and pesticide use, pollinator populations are declining in New England and worldwide. In response, Mayor Ballantyne’s Public Space and Urban Forestry Division is developing a Somerville Pollinator Action Plan (SPAP) to identify interventions foster habitat for pollinators in the city.
FabVille invites parents to join their kids on the last Wednesday of every month for open shop hours, where they can participate in guided projects together.
