The CPC invites Public Comment on FY21 Applications for Community Preservation Act Funds.
The CPC is holding a public meeting where FY21 applicants will present their projects to the CPC and the community on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30pm. The hearing will be held virtually on the GoToMeeting platform in compliance with Governor Baker’s emergency orders regarding the Open Meeting Law during the COVID-19 crisis. Come hear about the project proposals before the Community Preservation Committee and tell us which you think should be funded.

The City received two applications under the open space category which include;
Six applications were received under the Historic Preservation category and include:
- Broadway House (181 Broadway).
- Collection Care at the Somerville Museum.
- Works Progress Administration Bas-Relief Restoration Project Somerville Public Library.
- Exterior Wood Trim Repairs Elizabeth Peabody House.
- Broadway Winter Hill Congregational Church Bell Tower.
- Grace Baptist Church.
Somerville residents are invited to comment on these projects during the Virtual public meeting on October 28 as well as through written comments which can be sent to the CPA Manager, Judith Tumusiime at jtumusiime@somervillema.gov through November 2.
