Find Your Regular Trash Day

Please note: The schedule for hazardous waste and yard waste collection is created by our Environmental Services Coordinator in collaboration with DPW and City vendors, and is typically released in March as part of the Trash and Recycling Guide. We will publish the guide to the Trash and Recycling Information page as soon as it’s available, and all Somerville residents will receive a copy in the mail.

Programs & Initiatives

If you are a business, consultant, or non-profit that may be able to support Somerville’s business community, we encourage you to respond to our Request for Information (RFI).
Members will develop a recommendation to the Mayor on both the location and scope of a renovated or new school to meet the needs of the Winter Hill Community Innovation School and potentially the Benjamin G. Brown School.
