LOCATION

You’re invited to a block party with games, music, snacks, and more to discuss upcoming safety improvements on Glen and Otis Street! The City of Somerville is partnering with CultureHouse and Neighborways Design to create Neighborways on Glen Street and Otis Street to increase safety for people biking, walking, and rolling. After hearing from community members in door-to-door outreach and cider socials, the team has developed potential designs for the street. Attend the block party to learn more about the proposed designs and share your feedback. Information about proposed designs will also be made available on the project website following the block party.

Learn more about the project and at somervillema.gov/glenandotis.

As defined in the Somerville Bicycle Network Plan, Neighborways are walk-, roll-, and-bike friendly streets, creating a low-stress and high comfort experience on residential streets. These streets are designed to lower volume and speeds for vehicles.
