Journey through personal stories and local history to learn how the once-dubbed "Slummerville" has transformed into a trendy, gentrified city. Led by a local guide, you’ll witness the resilience of Somerville's spirit amidst demographic shifts and changing trends.

Location details and sign-up links will be posted at least one week in advance of each event at somervillemuseum.org/preservation-month.
 


Throughout the month of May, the Somerville Museum partners with the City of Somerville and members of the community to host events honoring Somerville’s history. All events are open to the public, ADA accessible, and free.
