Residents in the City of Somerville who are interested in seeking elected office are encouraged to take out nomination papers beginning Monday, May 11th for the Office of Mayor, Alderman at Large, Aldermen, and School Committee. Through a partnership with the Great American Rain Barrel Company in Hyde Park, MA, the City of Somerville is offering rain barrels to Somerville residents at a discount to help conserve water and save money. Paving, Detours on E. Broadway 10/27

On Mon., Oct. 27 between the hours of 7 a.m. and approximately 7 p.m., a City contractor will conduct paving work on East Broadway between Illinois Ave. and McGrath Highway.
