Around Hear: Season Finale

We're pulling out all the stops for the final concert of the season! There will be new music for violin & electronics depicting the personal lives of planets beyond our galaxy, a hilarious tabletop puppet show with a Scrooge-like character and a flying cow, and music for piano and strings by Johannes Brahms to inspire dreaming, drawing, writing, and dancing.

CultureHouse Union Square

This free-to-enter intergenerational pop-up will be a public space pilot, a living room for the community, a resource center, and an arts, culture, and business incubator. It will be open daily from 1 to 8 pm until June 9.

Somerville Pollinator Action Plan Advisory Committee Meeting

Due to habitat loss and pesticide use, pollinator populations are declining in New England and worldwide. In response, Mayor Ballantyne’s Public Space and Urban Forestry Division is developing a Somerville Pollinator Action Plan (SPAP) to identify interventions foster habitat for pollinators in the city.
