Every Tuesday in April April Bingo at the Ralph & Jenny Senior Center.

Bingo starts at 10:00 a.m. 

Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m.

Veteran's Group (Council on Aging)

The group will meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

This group allows veterans to connect with their peers, discuss personal challenges and provide support. All Veterans are welcome. Coffee & refreshments will be served.

“Stepping up your Nutrition” 

Stepping Up Your Nutrition (Council on Aging)

This eight week series will focus on ways we can each step up our nutrition. Topics will include: the importance of muscles for strength, key nutrients for older adults, particularly protein and fluid, knowing how nutrition affects the risks of falling and how to determine personal nutrition for a better lifestyle. 

Mayor Summer Jobs Workshop Series - Interview Skills

In preparation for the 2026 Mayor Summer Jobs Program, the City of Somerville Health and Human Services Department is hosting a series of FREE workshops to prepare youth for the job application process. A resume building workshop on March 18th, an Interview Skills workshop on April 29th, and a Financial Literacy workshop on May 27th.

Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call. 

Caregiver Resource Breakfast (Council on Aging)

Come share breakfast with other caregivers and learn what the community has to offer.

Representatives from Somerville Cambridge Elder Services, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), Veterans’ Services, Alzheimer’s Association will be speaking about various resources and services that are available to caregivers.

Virtual Overdose Prevention and Response Trainings

The Somerville Prevention Services and the Cambridge Public Health Department offer a free virtual overdose prevention and response trainings on a monthly basis to the community and free on-site trainings for groups by appointment.

LGBTQIA+ & Identity Affirming Foster Parent Information Session

Please join Department of Child and Family Services and the City of Somerville to learn how to support youth in foster care. Youth activities, light refreshments, and swag will be provided for participants!
