About LGBTQ Services
The City of Somerville's LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator connects, supports, and advocates for Somerville’s community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer residents. The LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator provides information, referral services, guidance, coordination, and technical assistance to the City and its residents on initiatives intended to serve the LGBTQ community. Additionally, the LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator works to eliminate prejudice and discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression in the City of Somerville.
