The City of Somerville's LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator connects, supports, and advocates for Somerville’s community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer residents. The LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator provides information, referral services, guidance, coordination, and technical assistance to the City and its residents on initiatives intended to serve the LGBTQ community. Additionally, the LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator works to eliminate prejudice and discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression in the City of Somerville. Here are some reasons you may wish to contact the City's LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator:
- You have an LGBTQ child in Somerville's school system or are part of an LGBTQ family in Somerville schools
- You have a concern or question about LGBTQ rights, safety, or health in Somerville
