Before voting in the September 14 preliminary election, don’t forget to double-check your polling location. This preliminary election will narrow the field for Mayor, Ward 5 City Councilor, and Ward 7 City Councilor.

The new polling locations as of 2021 are as follows:

  • Ward 3 Precinct 1
    • New Location: Properzi Manor, 13-25 Warren Ave.
    • Former Location: Central Library, 79 Highland Ave.
  • Ward 6 Precinct 3
    • New Location: A room in the West Branch Library, 40 College Ave.
    • Former Location: West Somerville Neighborhood School, 177 Powder House Blvd.
  • Ward 7 Precinct 3
    • New Location: A room in the VNA Assisted Living Facility, 405 Alewife Brook Parkway
    • Former Location: West Somerville Neighborhood School, 177 Powder House Blvd.

Five additional polling locations were relocated in 2020. Voters in those precincts will continue to vote at the 2020 locations listed below, during the 2021 elections. Those locations are:

  • Ward 2 Precinct 3: Argenziano School, 290 Washington St.
  • Ward 3 Precinct 3: St. Catherine of Genoa Parish, 179 Summer St.
  • Ward 5 Precinct 2: Kennedy School, use the entrance across the street from 21 Sartwell Ave.
  • Ward 5 Precinct 3: Kennedy School, use the entrance across the street from 21 Sartwell Ave.
  • Ward 6 Precinct 1: George Dilboy Post, 351 Summer St.
