Somerville Class of 2025 Invited to Apply for Municipal Scholarship Opportunity

Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the City of Somerville Municipal Scholarship Committee are reminding Somerville residents graduating high school in 2025 to apply now for seven municipal scholarship opportunities. Selected applicants will receive $1,000 to help with post-secondary education expenses.  

To qualify for consideration, students must be in high school, a resident of the City of Somerville at the time the financial aid is awarded, and be accepted to an accredited post-secondary institution. 

To apply, students can complete a profile and answer three short essay questions here: somervillema.gov/somerville-municipal-scholarship-2025 or call 311 (617-666-3311) for more information.
