Hazardous Waste
The last day to drop off hazardous waste this fall at the DPW yard (1 Franey Road) is Saturday, November 8, 2025. Drop-offs will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Accepted hazardous waste materials include motor oil, aerosol paint, household cleaning chemicals, rechargeable batteries, and more. Proof of residence such as a driver's license or utility bill is required. Waste materials should be placed in sturdy boxes and not in loose or plastic bags. The week for yard waste collection will be Monday to Friday, December 8-12, 2025. Yard waste can be left out for pickup by DPW on residents’ scheduled trash collection days. Please note: yard waste cannot be collected if it is put in plastic bags.
