Applicants Sought for Commission on Energy Use and Climate Change

Community Path Paving Coming in Spring

A section of the Community Path will be repaved in the spring of 2017 thanks to funding through the Community Preservation Act (CPA). The Friends of the Community Path worked with the City on a plan to repave the path between Cedar and Grove streets. There are also plans to make improvements to the path west of Davis Square later in the year. The new pavement will make for a smoother journey for people using any mode of transportation on the Community Path.

Upcoming Green Line Extension Community Meetings

Lower Speed Limit Goes Into Effect November 7 in Somerville

As of Monday, November 7, new speed limit signs will be up at city entrances and lower speed limits will be in effect across the City of Somerville. The new speed limit throughout the city is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
