About

Public Health Nurses at the City of Somerville play a vital role in promoting and protecting the health of the community through a variety of year-round initiatives.

Our public health nurses monitor communicable diseases and the potential for outbreaks within the community in tandem with the State Department of Public Health. They track disease trends, investigate cases, and implement strategies to prevent further disease transmission.
