The public is invited to a public hearing before the Board of Aldermen's Committee on Finance on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at 6 p.m., in the Aldermanic Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 93 Highland Ave. Members of the public may comment on the increase in residential and commercial property valuations as part of the 2014 Assessment.

The City Assessors office will give and overview of how assessments are conducted, explain the commercial and residential revaluation process required by the state and conducted for 2014, and also provide details on the appeals process, which is open to all with a deadline to apply by Feb.
