In preparation for the 2026 Mayor Summer Jobs Program, the City of Somerville Health and Human Services Department is hosting a series of FREE workshops to prepare youth for the job application process. A resume building workshop on March 18th, an Interview Skills workshop on April 29th, and a Financial Literacy workshop on May 27th.

This eight week series will focus on ways we can each step up our nutrition. Topics will include: the importance of muscles for strength, key nutrients for older adults, particularly protein and fluid, knowing how nutrition affects the risks of falling and how to determine personal nutrition for a better lifestyle.

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025, this public meeting of the 90 Washington Street Civic Advisory Committee is being conducted via remote participation.

Join the City of Somerville Mobility Division for workshops to learn more about safe street designs.

The group will meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

This group allows veterans to connect with their peers, discuss personal challenges and provide support. All Veterans are welcome. Coffee & refreshments will be served.
