The City of Somerville’s “Somerville by Design” community planning series continues this month with Visioning Sessions for the East Somerville and Davis Square neighborhoods. The Visioning sessions will be the second of four events in each process to help the City create a roadmap for future development based on community needs and wishes in these areas.

If you are going into grade 5 - 8 (age ~10-14) and love to write,
join us any Monday night this summer in building a fantastic experience.

Please join Mayor Curtatone for a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the East Broad Streetcape Project, and a Ribbon Cutting for the redesigned Chuckie Harris Park! Both events will be held on Monday, July 15th begining at 6 p.m.. Light refreshments will be served, and a reception will follow.

The City of Somerville announces the 2013 SomerPlay locations! Launched earlier this spring, SomerPlay is the City's newest innovative program encouraging community building in Somerville so as to increase the amount of time children play together within each neighborhood. It is based on author Mike Lanza's Playborhood.
