Walking Club (Council on Aging)

Connect with friends new and old while spending time out in nature. This group walks at a moderate pace and is a great way to add movement to your day. Explore nature trails and the streets of Somerville for an enjoyable journey!

Please join us at one of the dates below for the SCES Summertime BBQ. 

We will play Bingo at 10:00 a,m,

BBQ lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs and various salads will be served at noon.

Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call. 

Somerville Mobile Farmers Market

LGBTQIA+ Virtual General Exercise (Council on Aging)

This is an online version of the General Exercise class that welcomes the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Enjoy seated exercises with the option to use dumbbells and work on standing strength and balance. This easy-to-follow workout focuses on functional fitness to maintain an independent lifestyle. 

Overdose Awareness Vigil and Flag Planting

Eleven purple flags will solemnly grace the City Hall lawn in memory of residents whose lives were lost to opioid-related overdose in 2025.
