Stepping Up Your Nutrition (Council on Aging)

This eight week series will focus on ways we can each step up our nutrition. Topics will include: the importance of muscles for strength, key nutrients for older adults, particularly protein and fluid, knowing how nutrition affects the risks of falling and how to determine personal nutrition for a better lifestyle.

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call.

Virtual Overdose Prevention and Response Trainings

The Somerville Prevention Services and the Cambridge Public Health Department offer a free virtual overdose prevention and response trainings on a monthly basis to the community and free on-site trainings for groups by appointment.

Experiencing grief can be overwhelming but you don't have to do it alone.

The Somerville Council on Aging will be hosting a six-week grief support group.
