The Comprehensive Plan for the future of the city is SomerVision.

More than ten years ago, our community brought together our best and most ambitious ideas to write the first comprehensive plan (Download the SomerVision2030 plan here) – the City’s vision for 2010-2030. Then throughout 2019 we engaged in a new process to improve upon that plan, take stock of our progress, add many new ideas, consider how priorities have shifted, and extend the scope of our vision to the year 2040. The end result is the new and entirely community driven Somerville Comprehensive Plan focusing on the shared values of sustainability, diversity, opportunity, connectivity, and community (Download the SomerVision2040 plan here).

Coming soon! Check back for updates on SomerVision2050 as we look at the future of Somerville together.
