Recent Updates
To support this work and reduce interruptions during school hours, all playground and field areas will be closed Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12. They will reopen on Tuesday, October 13.
Crews will be working around the exterior of the building using lifts to transport crews and material to the roof. The playground closure is necessarily to maintain safety of both workers and the community and to allow work to proceed efficiently.
The neighborhood patience and understanding is very much appreciated. For a list of parks and open spaces in the city visit somervillema.gov/parklist.
