Healthy Steps (Council on Aging)

Healthy-Steps is a movement program designed to help you thrive! This playful class is for everyBODY and can be done seated or standing. It focuses on improving strength and endurance, range of motion, and provides an opportunity to work on balance. Dance with props to eclectic music and have fun on the way to better health.

Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call.

Kennedy School Playground Renovation Community Meeting II

In this community meeting we will discuss the preferred design of the Kennedy School Playground located on the corner of Elm St and Cherry St.

Function Junction (Council on Aging)

Focus on functional fitness with exercises that help with activities of daily living and maintaining independence!

In this class, we will work on improving coordination, enhancing muscular elasticity, and improving balance. We’ll work on both strengthening and stretching muscles to improve posture and mobility.

New School Building Project - 115 Sycamore Site Walk and Talk #1 (WHCIS/Brown)

The Winter Hill and Brown School Communities are invited to meet with project architects Perkins Eastman at 115 Sycamore Street (home to the former Winter Hill School building). Come share your perspectives and help shape the design of Somerville’s next new school building.
