LOCATION
The conference features an all-original show with theater, spoken word, music, and speeches. The Youth Organizers and Associates have been working to create a powerful show to address the issues that youth face in Somerville, and to bring the community together. Some of the topics that they’ll address include issues relating to school walk-outs, mental health, discrimination, gentrification, relationships, violence, substance abuse, and more.
The conference will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 6:30pm-9pm at the Somerville High School Auditorium. This year’s theme is A Tale of Two Cities, Voices Unheard. More than 300 Somerville youth and adults are expected to attend.
