What the Fluff? A Tribute to Innovation is a multi-day madcap festival from September 22-26, honoring the invention of Marshmallow Fluff in Union Square. This festival celebrates Somerville’s proud tradition of innovation with live music, fluffalicious feasts, games, zany happenings, and much more.
This year, COVID-conscious What the Fluff? stares adulting down like only Somerville can. No FOMO here! Call your fam, DM your friends, and claim your invite to this Union Square milestone, Sweet 16: Onward & Fluffward!
Scores of local businesses open their doors – and patios! – to lure Fluff lovers to a safe yet scrumptiously sticky soiree unlike ever before. Fluff enthusiasts will delight in Fluffalicious Feasts, Flufftastic Fluff Stuff, and frolicking with fellow friends-in-Fluff, making this What the Fluff?, the sweetest evah.
Union Square eateries, breweries, cafes, shops, and Fluff fans look onward and fluffward together as each participating business cooks up their own special take on celebrating this Square’s roots.
