Free Flu Clinics - Fall 2020

This year the City of Somerville Health and Human Services Department (HHS) will be holding flu clinics, but we have had to make some accommodations due to COVID19. Our clinics will be outdoors with a walk-up or drive-thru model to maintain safety for both Somerville residents and flu clinic staff. As a reminder, please wear a face covering when coming to receive a vaccination. HHS will also be using an online pre-registration system for appointments so accurate information can be collected online and the exchange of papers onsite is limited to add an extra layer of safety.

All clinics will still offer free flu vaccines for Somerville residents with or without health insurance, ages three and older (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) as well as having a high dose vaccine for those who are age 65+.

Due to limited availability, vaccines will be offered during official flu clinic hours only. While there is no charge for vaccinations, attendees are asked to bring an insurance card if available, including Medicaid cards.  The City will add or adjust clinic schedules as necessary, and the most up to date information can always be found on this page.

To schedule an appointment please click on the date that works best for you below and follow prompts. HHS is also working with the Somerville Public Schools and Prospect Hill Academy to schedule flu clinics on site for SPS and PHA students and their families. Look for updates on when those are going to be in the school newsletters and websites. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to Sara Harris the Public Health Nurse Manager at 617-625-6600x4320 or [email protected].

All appointments are currently filled, please check back as new appointments will be added.
