Elections: Nomination Papers Available May 1 - Return by June 7

Are you interested in running for local office? Beginning on May 1st, nomination papers for the Office of Mayor, Councilor at Large, Councilor, and School Committee will be available for you to take out. Don't miss out on this opportunity to help shape the future of Somerville!

To start the process, make an appointment with the Elections Department to take out your nomination papers. Remember to schedule a separate appointment to return them. Appointments are available between May 1st and June 7th. But act fast - the deadline to take out nomination papers is June 5 at 5 p.m., and all nomination papers must be received by the Board of Election Commissioners by 5 p.m. on June 7th.
