Ballantyne Administration Sharing Homeownership Opportunity at 411 Norfolk Street

Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development (OSPCD) are pleased to announce the resale of one deed-restricted condominium to eligible, first-time homebuyer households at a below market price through the City’s Inclusionary Housing Program. This unit will be offered to households with a yearly gross income at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI).

Community Path (Lowell Street to Central Street) Temporary Detour Begins Monday, July 28 or Soon After

This temporary detour (approximately 1 week, weather permitting) will enable the repair of damaged concrete on the community path as part of Ballantyne Administration’s commitment to maintaining community walkability

Mayor Ballantyne and the City of Somerville’s Engineering Division would like to share an important announcement about an upcoming detour on the Somerville Community Path so residents can plan their travel accordingly. 

Beginning on Monday, July 28 or soon after, people walking, wheeling, or cycling on the Community Path between Lowell Street and Central Street will be detoured.
