Small Business Assistance Program Targets East Somerville

Will offer guidance and technical assistance on business operations to eight businesses

SOMERVILLE – The City program that helped small retail and restaurant owners in Magoun Square, Winter Hill and Union Square improve their businesses earlier this year is now aiming to support East Somerville businesses, through a partnership with East Somerville Main Streets and Retail Visioning.

More Free Flu Vaccine Clinics Scheduled for November 2015

The Somerville Health and Human Services Department has scheduled two additional free public flu vaccination clinics. While there is no charge for vaccinations, attendees are asked to bring an insurance card if available. Those wanting a vaccine should wear clothing that allows easy access to the upper arm. Flu clinics will be held as follows:

SOMERVILLE – Annual compliance checks at all licensed Somerville liquor outlets will take place from November 2015 through June 2016, conducted by Somerville Cares About Prevention (SCAP) and the Somerville Police Department, the Somerville Office of Prevention (SOP) announced today.
