Looking for a way to jump into spring? Want to get out and about as a family? We’ve got the perfect opportunity! The annual Somerville Mayor’s Parks Pass Challenge guides you to all the nature, activities, and fun that Somerville has to offer with a new spin each year. This year is a citywide Parks Pass Challenge during the month of May!

Taking part is easy!

Pick up your Parks Pass at the Somerville Public Libraries or City Hall, or download the materials here.

Get moving to any park in Somerville! To find your local parks, view the City’s park map and this new interactive Google Map of Somerville parks, dog parks, and community gardens. Plan your route and get there safely: click on “Ways to Get Going” on the SUS webpage for all sorts of safe transit resources.

Every time you visit any Somerville park in the month of May, mark it on your parks pass or keep note on your own. Visit as many parks as you can!

Before June 1st, submit your Parks Pass Scorecard for the chance to win a prize! You can drop it off at City Hall or any of the Somerville Public Libraries, send us a picture or scan to [email protected], or you can fill it out via Google Forms here.

Please note: If you download the Parks Pass, just check off the boxes or use your own stickers to let us know how many parks you visited.

Prizes to Be Announced; Check Back Soon!

All returned scorecards will be entered into a drawing. The first five names pulled will win a general prize, and the parks pass with the most stickers will win the grand prize!
