Minibonds not only allow purchasers to directly support the community’s collective goals by investing in the financing of some of Somerville’s capital projects, they also enable residents to earn tax-exempt interest.

CANCELED: Somerville Veterans' Memorial Parade (Begins 3 p.m. @ City Hall)

Update (5/19/2018): Current weather forecasts for Sunday include a significant chance of thunder and lightning in the area through the late afternoon. After reviewing all available forecasts and speaking with parade participants, the decision has been made to cancel the parade out of concern for public safety. 

Cinema Somerville Outdoor Film Festival

The Somerville Arts Council and the Somerville Media Center announce the third annual Cinema Somerville Outdoor Film Festsival, set for Saturday, May 19, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. This outdoor film fest in Union Square Plaza will feature short films about Somerville’s diverse voices.
