In the good old Estados Unidos, Cinco de Mayo is a nice excuse to knock back a few margaritas. Yet few Americans know what Cinco de Mayo actually celebrates: Mexico's triumphant victory over the French forces of Napoleon III in 1862 at the battle of Puebla.
