About the PIP

Due to the presence of hazardous materials at the Conway Park site, this location, is a disposal site as defined by M.G.L. c. 21E, § 2 and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan, 310 CMR 40.0000. As a result, a public meeting was held at the Somerville Public Safety Building at 220 Washington Street in Somerville, Massachusetts on May 29, 2019, at 6:30 PM to present the draft Public Involvement Plan, to solicit public comment on the draft Public Involvement Plan, and to provide information about disposal site conditions. The draft Public Involvement Plan is available on this webpage under the Document Repositories tab as well as at all three Somerville Public Libraries for review.

Public Comments on the Activity and Use Limitation (AUL) and Permanent Solution Statement (PSS) are accepted through June 14, 2023. Please send all comments to Jon Bronenkant jbronenkant@somervillema.gov.
