Slice of the City are early evening, drop-in style meet ups at green spaces in each of Somerville’s wards.
Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2025, this meeting of the School Committee will be conducted via Zoom Webinar Participation.
Every Thursday at 9:00am except May 1st. Meet at the entrance of Holland Street Center.
Public meeting of a regional group with participants and topics of discussion that relate to the metro Boston region. The meeting will be held virtually.
Every Wednesday and Thursday at 1:00pm on Zoom except no classes on May 1st and 28th.
Participants will take part in a chair, dance, warm-up and hip hop class that begins and ends in the chairs.
Come learn about various topics relating to Finances and Budgeting.
On May 22nd at 6:00pm at the central branch of the Somerville public library auditorium (79 Highland Ave), there will be a presentation on the Action Plan and the Section 108 loan process, as well as the opportunity for public comments on both items.
Experiencing grief can be overwhelming but you don't have to do it alone.
The Somerville Council on Aging will be hosting a six-week grief support group.

The City of Somerville and Brazilian Heritage Community Foundation have joined forces to provide workshops and individualized one-on-one support for small businesses.
This group allows veterans to connect with their peers, discuss personal challenges and provide support.
