Bingo at Ralph & Jenny (Council on Aging)

Bingo

Every Tuesday in October

Bingo starts at 10:00 a.m.

Lunch will be served at noon or at the end of Bingo.

All are welcome! Registration is required. You will need to register on a weekly basis. 

Each week call the COA Reservation line at 617-625-6600 ext. 2323, Monday Tuesday to reserve your spot for the following week.

Men's Group (Council on Aging)

Our men’s group meets the second Tuesday of the month.

A confidential space where men are free to speak openly and honestly about their lives, what is happening and to support each other. New and returning members are welcome.

Urban Design Commission Meeting

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025, this meeting of the Urban Design Commission will be conducted via remote participation.

2026 Neighborhood Connect Meeting - Ward 1

Community members are invited to join Mayor Jake Wilson, the City Council, and School Committee during the 2026 ‘Neighborhood Connect’ meeting series. Formerly known as City Hall Community Meetings, Neighborhood Connect will take place in each of Somerville’s seven wards.

Getting an understanding of your Body Fat and Body Mass Index can help understand what you need, but we also want to look at our Body Roundness Index. Unlike BMI, Body Roundness Index BRI accounts for body shape and fat distribution, offering a more correct assessment of cardiometabolic risk.

Zumba Gold (Council on Aging)

Zumba Gold® uses Latin and international rhythms and is a lower intensity version of Zumba® for active older adults. It uses easy-to follow moves that focus on balance, range of motion, and coordination. The class is designed to develop cardiovascular endurance, muscular conditioning and flexibility while helping relieve arthritic pain.

Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025, this meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals will be conducted via remote participation.

Fall Luncheon (Council on Aging)

Join us as we celebrate fall with music from DJ Hank and a catered lunch of stuffed chicken and vegetables. 

$10 per person

Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call.

Enjoy exercising in nature in this Outdoor Eastern Flow class! Connect mind, body, and spirit while getting into a state of Flow. Finding flow moves us toward finding an effortless clarity and euphoria that can transform lives. Traditional Eastern movements from martial arts and nature are explored, but in a modern way.

LCR (Council on Aging)

LCR-Left Center Right is a fun, fast-paced dice game that you won't be able to put down! Players roll the dice to determine where they pass their chips. The last player with chips is the winner and wins the center pot.
