The Somerville Elections Department in conjunction with the State’s Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) will be hosting a Financial Training Seminar for Somerville Voters who would like to run for Municipal Office Tuesday May 2nd at 6:30 pm in the Aldermanic Chambers. So, if you are interested in running for Mayor, Alderman at Large, Ward Alderman or School Committee this will be an interesting presentation for both the prospective candidates and their Campaign Treasurers. The training covers Campaign Finance Requirements as well as a demonstration of Reporter 6, OCPF’s filing system. The seminar will last for one hour.
