LOCATION
We are excited to be recruiting volunteers again for a tree planting event in Somerville hosted by the MyRWA and the city of Somerville. The event will begin at 9:00 am and run until approximately 12:30 pm, followed by a pizza lunch. All supplies are provided. Event is limited to 40 volunteers and registration is required.
Note: Because we do not yet know exactly when the trees are being shipped, we may have to delay this event to May 5. We will know closer to the event.
We will plant 40 bare-root trees, a planting method that allows volunteers easily to plant trees without machinery and with a high degree of success.
