Local organizations are invited to attend an informational event for local stakeholders about a new program called Lead Paint Safe Somerville Wednesday, June 6, 9:30-11:00 am at the Somerville Public Library Central Branch, 79 Highland Avenue. Light refreshments provided. Learn how your organization can help make Somerville a healthier community and how your organization may receive a $200 bonus incentive for referrals. About Lead Paint Safe Somerville: The City of Somerville received a $1.7 million grant to help create safe housing environments for Somerville families. Our goal is to mitigate lead hazards in 90 Somerville housing units by 2021.
