Join the Somerville Historic Preservation Commission and the Somerville Bicycle Advisory Committee on Sunday, June 17, for the annual Historic Bike Ride. The 2018 theme is “Exploring Somerville: New Faces of Enduring Places.” The tour will begin from Somerville City Hall, 93 Highland Ave., at 2 p.m., and conclude at 4:45 p.m. at Bow Market in Union Square for complimentary refreshments. Advance reservations are appreciated, by emailing Brandon Wilson at [email protected], or calling 617-625-6600, x. 2532. The ride is escorted by Somerville Police officers, and is designed for all ages and riding levels. A $3 donation is appreciated, but not required. Please remember to wear your helmet!

A rain date has been set for Sunday, June 24.

 


Individuals with disabilities who need auxiliary aids and services for effective communication, written materials in alternative formats, or reasonable modifications in policies and procedures, in order to access the programs and activities of the City of Somerville or to attend meetings, should contact the City’s ADA Coordinator, Nency Salamoun, at 617-625-6600 x2323 or[email protected].
