LOCATION

Join the Somerville Arts Council and ArtsUnion in the Union Square Plaza on Saturday, June 30 for a nighttime artisan and flea market featuring live music by local artists from 5 to 10 p.m. The event will include three musical acts and over 35 vendors featuring fantastic vintage and artisan wares under the stars in the heart of Union Square. There will also be a beer garden sponsored by Brass Union.

Music set times:

  • 5:45pm: Grace Givertz 
  • 7:00pm: The Royer Family Band w/ Radi0 Swan 
  • 8:30pm: Sugar Blood Jinx 

This pop-up market is presented by the Somerville Flea, Somerville Arts Council and City of Somerville as part of the ArtsUnion 2018 series. A rain date has been set for July 7.

Now in its 13th year ArtsUnion has been instrumental in reinvigorating the artistic and business landscape of Union Square. ArtsUnion presents numerous events and markets, and leads cultural tours. In addition, ArtsUnion has com­missioned temporary art installations, artisans to fabricate street furniture and has been instrumental in creating zoning incentives for arts-related development in the square.
