Join the Somerville Conservation Commission and Earthwise Aware for a bioblitz at Draw Seven State Parkon Saturday, April 27th at 10am as part of the Boston City Nature Challenge (rain date Sunday, April 28th). City Nature Challenge is a global effort to document urban biodiversity. Last year we recorded 41 plants and animals in the park, let’s see what we find this year! Bring your smartphone, digital camera, or just your eyes to help us find and photograph plants and animals. We will upload all observations to the Boston City Nature Challenge iNaturalist page using the iNaturalist app. We will be meeting near the picnic area at the end of the parking lot. To RSVP or if you have any questions please e-mail Cristina at cnc.somerville@gmail.com.

Want to learn more about iNaturalist before the event? Join Earthwise Aware for a training on Saturday, April 13 at Fresh Pond in Cambridge, contactcitizenscience@earthwiseaware.orgfor details.
