In the good old Estados Unidos, Cinco de Mayo is a nice excuse to knock back a few margaritas. Yet few Americans know what Cinco de Mayo actually celebrates: Mexico's triumphant victory over the French forces of Napoleon III in 1862 at the battle of Puebla. Here's a great short article about it.

Come celebrate Mexico's history and culture with Nibble this May 5th! Nibble entrepreneur Estela Calzada will be serving the following:

Menu
Tostadas with Cactus: $7
Tostadas with Chicken Tinga: $7
Esquites (Mexican street corn): $7
Agua de Limón y Chía: $5

Entertainment
Salsa dance instruction and party
Performance by Xuchipili Folkloric Ballet (5pm)
Face painting
