Are you a local artist? Join us!

As part of SomerVision2040, City staff is organizing a forum for local artists to let us know their concerns and ideas about how the City can better support our arts and creative economy.

Ten years ago our community brought together our biggest and best ideas to write SomerVision2030, the City’s comprehensive plan for 2010-2030, and it has helped guide our work since. Now is the time to improve upon that plan, to measure our progress, add new ideas, and extend the vision to 2040. Some of our best initiatives, like SomerViva, SomerStreets, ArtBeat, Nibble and Inclusionary Zoning came up during the previous SomerVision process. Come share your thoughts and your big idea could be next!

Learn more at www.SomerVision2040.com and if you have any questions email us at planning@somervillema.gov. Anyone can also share their opinions by filling out our online survey at www.SomerVision2040.com/participate.
