The City of Somerville’s annual SomerMovie Fest returns this year with a series of seven family-friendly films being shown in parks around Somerville. 

Screenings begin at sundown and the schedule is as follows:

Mulan (1998) July 15 Nathan Tufts Park (Powderhouse)
Mrs. Doubtfire July 22 Nunziato Field
The Sandlot July 29 Lincoln Park (Argenziano School)
Coco August 5 East Somerville Community School
Black Panther August 12 Baxter Park
Guardians of the Galaxy August 19 Seven Hills Park
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Rescheduled from July 8) August 26 Seven Hills Park

While attendees are not required to wear masks, anyone who is not fully vaccinated is advised to wear one whenever they are in a crowd.
