Please join Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the Somerville Public School Gender and Sexuality Alliances (GSAs) on Wednesday, June 1, at 3 p.m. to raise the Pride flag in honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month and LGBTQ+ Youth Pride. The ceremony will take place on the City Hall concourse, 93 Highland Avenue. Mayor Ballantyne, Somerville LGBTQ Liaison Jack Treanor, and student representatives from GSA will speak at the event. Following the raising of the flag, the Mayor invites attendees to join her in City Hall for a reception.
