About the Event

Event |

Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and City of Somerville staff are hosting listening sessions to hear from the community about the future of 90 Washington Street, a 4-acre site near the East Somerville Green Line station envisioned as the future home of a new Public Safety Building and a range of civic, commercial, and residential uses. After a brief overview of the project, residents will have an opportunity to share their thoughts about the Public Safety Building project and other potential uses for the site on the adjacent Washington Street Development Parcels.

This listening session will be hosted both in-person and virtually, on different evenings. The in-person listening session will take place Tuesday, June 28, at 6 p.m. at the East Somerville Community School (50 Cross Street), either on the basketball courts or in the auditorium. Signage will be posted to direct attendees. The virtual listening session will take place Wednesday, June 29, at 6 p.m. This is the same meeting, just offered in different formats. Both meetings will have live interpretation into Spanish and Portuguese.

For more information and the link for the virtual listening session, go to somervillema.gov/90washington
